After the first being quite the success and a few inquiries once again its time for Cosmic Bowling. This Wednesday June 30 at 9pm-12am for only $5 per person. Lets try to get there a little before 9 so we can go in as a single group and make sure the lanes are adjacent. So lets upstage last month's event and show up in packs.

Akon 2011

Had an amazing time at A-kon there was a plethora of sci-fi, anime, comics, gaming and everything a geek could care about. One of the greatest parts was a large portion of the great being able to meet with Monty Oum creator of Haloid and Dead Fantasy. He went above and beyond what was necessary and hosted his panel as many times as it took to make sure everyone saw it and even gave out autographs. Looking forward to going again next year and hoping to see old friends and begin new friendships. The only downside is that it had to end.

Cosmic Bowling with MOOGLE!

Alrighty folks, we have another wonderful night of Cosmic Bowling set up, this time for May 25th from 9pm to 12am! The price will run at $5 per person, and we will all meet up beforehand outside of the bowling alley so we won't have so many people running around trying to find us.

MOOGLE's June Meeting

At this month's meeting we will:

-Continue talking about a formal Rules of Conduct
-Screen another Operation Anime Title
-Hold Open Gaming and Malarkey

As there will be members returning from A-Kon and also members gearing up for AWA, much fun will be had relating to those two conventions. For those brought into the group via the recent upgrade on FB, come join us and see what we're about!

May Meeting

Alrighty folks, for those who aren't connected in with the MOOGLE Facebook, our meetings haven't changed, we still meet at Garabaldi's Pizza on Walker Ave., and the times are still 6pm-10pm. The only difference is that the meeting dates now are based around the second Sunday of every month, in this case, May 8th. Here's a taste of what we'll be doing in May:

-We'll be discussing specifics related to our upcoming Cosmic Bowling Event
-We will also be discussing the implementation of Rules of Conduct in lite of recent events
-We'll be showing another great Operation Anime Title (TBD)
-As always, after business we'll be doing Open Gaming and Malarkey

Boy, it's been a while......

Hey folks, to start off with, no, we're not dead, we didn't go away, the group has been very active in the last few months. The reason why you haven't heard anything on here however is that we've been in a long period of transition which was completed earlier this year as well as preparation for the Spring of Cons (MidSouthCon, MTAC, A-Kon, TigerCon, Anime Blues Con).

Now that all of the ducks are in a row though, we can finally concentrate on our web operations again, so expect more frequent news updates as well as any tidbits relating to MOOGLE.
